Benevolence Ministry

Each week our benevolence committee receives many calls from people in need. Over the years we have compiled a storage room with basic supplies. We also have available a list of local resources, businesses and service centers to call on when there’s a need. We interview each person making the request. Records are kept so we can be the best stewards possible with the resources God has blessed us with.

With CBC being located just off I-20 at the Coldwater/Munford exit we have had the opportunity to help people from all across the country. Some alone and distraught due to family emergencies, some in busses full of youth traveling far away from home. Many have contacted the church afterwards telling how appreciative they are – that we were available, ready and willing to help them in their time of need.
